History and Mission

St. Stephen’s Girls’ College Alumnae Association (“SSGCAA”) was established in 1926.
The management of the affairs, administration and business of SSGCAA is vested in the Executive Committee which consists of 15 Life Members which is made up as follows:-
1 President
1 Vice-President
2 Honorary Treasurers
2 Honorary Secretaries
9 Committee Members
SSGCAA has worked diligently and contributed enormously towards our beloved school. The Executive Committee members are dedicated and they have generously given their precious time to serve SSGCAA and the school. Team work is the most important element for SSGCAA to succeed thoroughwort the years. The Executive Committee members have worked hard to uphold the values and missions of SSGCAA, namely, to promote fellowship and closer relationship among the alumnae and the school by means of social, educational, welfare and recreational activities and to do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the said objects.
Our school aimed to help girls forge a sense of identity, to encourage them to see they are important and beautiful the way they are, and to explore the world. Our school nurture not only future leaders, but work to inspire ideal core values in our young women to bring forth a generation with a genuine desire and will to serve the society to the best of their abilities and be prepared to speak out ad uphold the worthwhile causes that unite the society. These distinct characteristics shine in SSGCAA, the school and the community.
In Faith go Forward
Praise be to God.
